Hole 16

Hole Number 16
The 16th is the longest hole at Dutcher Creek. Yardages are Blue tees - 585, Whites - 503, and Reds - 381.

Hole Number 16
This view from the blue tees shows the water and the white tees. The narrow driving area is framed by large tree left and right. This chute will challenge the best golfer because a good drive is a must due to the length of this hole.

Hole Number 16
This view might be what you'll be seeing on your 3rd shot. The green is guarded by elevated knolls in a horseshoe shape all around the green. Not see in this photo is the sand trap that guards the right side. Pulling or pushing your approach shot will cause you to have a difficult chip on or over a knoll.

Hole Number 16
This is a view of the green look back towards the fairway. Note the weeping willow that guards the left side of the approach shot. This green is large and generally flat.

Hole 17

Hole Number 17
After the long 16th, the 17th tests the accuracy of your short irons. Yardage is Blue tees - 154, Whites - 121, and Reds - 85.

Hole Number 17
Water is a significant part of the 17th. Your decision to what club to use and how hard to hit it is most important. Hit it short, your probably in the water, hit it long and you'll be chipping from heavy rough or hardpan.

Hole Number 17
This is a better view of the pond. With all the willows, water foul and the manicured fairway and greens, this is a picturesque hole.

Hole Number 17
The 17th green is built on a diagonal which isn't evident from the tee. It is generally flat with some undulations; it will test everyone's putting ability. If your approach is long and right, you'll be chipping from hardpan or a muddy area.

Hole 18

Hole Number 18
The finishing hole at Dutcher Creek is the #1 handicap hole. Yardages are Blue tees - 354, Whites - 284, and Reds - 223.

Hole Number 18
This is the view from the blue tees. Water is on your left all the way down the fairway. Most golfers elect to hit the medium sized landing area in preparation for the 2nd shot which is over the pond to the green. Most hit a 6 or 7 iron. Though a blind shot, if you're really driving long and accurate you could drive the green, but miss it and you'll either be wet or OB.

Hole Number 18
From the landing area, about 150 to 170 yards off the tee, you'll see that your 2nd shot will need to traverse the pond. This could be any where from a 110 to 150 yard shot with accuracy. This is the hardest green to hit and due to its undulations and changes in elevations, is the hardest to putt, so keep it below the hole if you can.

Hole Number 18
This view shows the 18th green and beyond, the pond and landing area for your first shot. This green will test anyone's patience and ability to read speed and break; water and difficult a green make this, the hardest hole on the course.
